Registration

Meeting Street Elementary- Burns accepts students grades PK3-5th living in the Dorchester-Waylyn community attendance zone in Charleston County. To see if you are in our zone, click here.

Please follow this LINK to the CCSD Website AFTER reading the information below.  

You will need to create an account to complete the registration process for your student. New students include students who:
1. are new to the district;
2. previously attended CCSD but are returning to CCSD after a separation (withdrawal) from the district.
3. are enrolling in kindergarten for the first time and did not attend a CCSD pre-k four-year-old program

Please note that your child must be:
5 years old on or before September 1 to be in Kindergarten
6 years old on or before September 1 to be in 1st grade

  4. REQUIRED (NECESARIO) - Notarized Affidavit of Residency (Declaración jurada de residencia notariada) English & Español Please print the Affidavit. The affidavit must be notarized. Then, please email the affidavit to daniel_mckeown.c@charleston.k12.sc.us.  You may also mail the affidavit to the school at 3750 Dorchester Rd., North Charleston, SC 29405.  |  Por favor imprima la declaración jurada. La declaración jurada debe ser notariada. Luego, envíe la declaración jurada por correo electrónico a daniel_mckeown.c@charleston.k12.sc.us.
